Basic Payroll Processing

Includes gathering of payroll information by fax, mail or delivery, accurately processing that information, and packaging/delivering paychecks and reports.

Standard Reports

Offered in each payroll, it includes a Cover Letter, Payroll Register with year-to-date earnings, deductions and taxes (details the gross to net breakdown for each employee), Payroll Tax Report, Check Reconciliation, General Ledger Report, and the next week’s Payroll Worksheets. At the end of each quarter and at the end of the year, you will receive completed federal and state payroll tax returns only needing your signature (unless you enlist Comstat to take care of your taxes).

Optional Reports

In addition to the standard reports offered with each payroll, we have over 50 different optional reports. Depending on your business, you may benefit from a 401 K Reports, Worker’s Compensation Report or a FICA Tip Credit Report to better control your bottom line.

Tax Deposits

Comstat Payroll Services offers to take care of your tax filing and tax payment. This service includes the preparation and submission of federal and state payroll tax returns as well as the deposit of related payroll tax funds with the appropriate tax authority in all 50 states. Comstat holds all of client’s tax funds in a separate tax escrow account and is EFTPS compliant. One of the benefits of being a tax client is that Comstat is completely responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of tax deposits and tax return filings for your company.

Direct Deposit

If your company desires to electronically transfer your employee’s paycheck into their bank account(s), we can do that for you! Employees will receive a pay stub detailing their current earnings and deductions.

Third Party Garnishment Checks

Forget the headaches of figuring and creating child support and garnishment checks. At Comstat, we will automatically create a third party check ready for you to mail.

Laser Check Signing/Stuffing

Laser-encoded signatures printed directly onto paychecks during payroll eliminates the need to sign payroll checks. Add envelope stuffing and sealing, and pre-signed paychecks can be delivered directly to multiple locations ready to distribute.
